Argyth’s Arcane Companion collects the Archmage Argyth's notes on spellcraft and wizardry, containing the following options for your 5e games:

Subclasses

  • School of the Beast. A school created through a coalition of wizards and druids, allowing you to become a fireball slinging frog.
  • School of the Blade. As Eldrich Knights bring magic to their martial abilities, so those of this school bring swordplay to their spellcraft.
  • School of Diabolism. Taught by otherworldly creatures, those of this school enhance their magical studies with gifts from otherworldly entities.
  • School of Summoning. (see preview) Created by a group of conjurers, this school focuses on summoning creatures to fight alongside, and enhancing these summons.

Feats

  • Blademage. Meld magic and metal, spending spell slots on smites, and getting even more use out of melee cantrips
  • Mage Slayer (Revised). Train spesifically to take down spellcasters, gaining advantage against spells and interrupting casting, stopping spells before they're cast.
  • Summoning Initiate. Dabble in summoning magics, and treat your summons as familiars, letting you see though their eyes.

Spells

  • 5 Bladetrips. Also found in JayPea's Casting Compendium, these are all cantrips that call for melee weapon attacks.
  • 12 Summoning Spells. All either also founded in JayPea's Casting Compendium or licenced under CC by other creators, these are all spells that summon another creature to fight alongside.
