Variant Healing

Healing in 5e needs changing, it's almost never worth it unless people hit 0, people never take short rests, there's no punishments for yoyo healing, etc etc.

This document aims to fix that, taking inspiration from the 2024 playtests, SunbearGames discussions on the topic, and various talks about yoyo healing and rests, I've put together this document, revising as much of healing in D&D 5e as I can.

This document includes:

• Revised Natural Healing (short/long rests, and a new action)
• Revised Dying (discouraging healing from 0)
• A new condition
• 11 Revised Spells (changing most level 1-5 healing spells to be more useful in combat)
